Suppliers therefore need a legal person electronic certificate on a cryptographic signature creation device (e.g., a token). According to the eIDAS Regulation, for an electronic signature to be qualified, it must be based on a qualified certificate and created on a qualified signature creation device. If the certificate is not issued using this type of device, even if the certificate is issued by a qualified provider, the signature or seal will be classed as advanced, rather than qualified.  <\/span><\/p><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-style: normal; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: inherit;\">This means that if you need to generate qualified signatures, you must use a cryptographic device. If you already have one, you can reuse it with EADTrust.
